Game of Thrones Character Workout: Rob Stark

I am having a hard time trying to decide which character workout I want to share. Mostly because there is one that I find particularly appealing to the eye, but also some pretty badass characters that would also be fun to see how they keep in shape.

I'll quit second guessing myself and start with one of my favorite characters from season 1. Robb Stark aka Richard Madden in real life. With a stunning Scottish accent and piercing blue eyes... I fall into them every time he's on television. This workout is provided by Super Hero Jacked.

Richard Madden has a pretty realistic view of this health routine in an Interview with People Magazine when talking about losing weight for a job "And that sucks, because it actually gets in the way of the job, a bit. And also because it's just unrealistic. Not everyone walks around with six-packs-unless you're on (dating show) Love Island."

I learned through the Super Hero Jacked website that Madden is also an avid runner. (WOO!) The web article goes onto describe his typical workout routine for Game of Thrones as well as offers it as a Free PDF, head over to their website above to download and take to the gym with you.

The training program they offer is 3-5 days per week, with a mix of running and lifting. The weight training is broken down in the equal and opposite lift routine; 1 day for muscles that pull and 1 day for muscles that push.  6 active days and 1 rest day. It's a relatively good 6-day program that you could repeat for 4-6 weeks. (It's around that point you would want to switch it up to a different program.) Beginners could easily use this routine with light to no weights as well modify or eliminate some of the exercises that they aren't ready or trained for yet.

Whether your heading to a wedding (see what I did there?) or fighting off a band of soldiers from the south, this workout routine is sure to keep you in shape and looking good. .

Blessings Everyone,
A
