Treats vs Cheats

What works best for you? People often suggest being super strict and really healthy and clean during the week but then on Saturday just eat whatever you want.
This tends to be me, after a cheat meal (cough cough day)
But I heard some where...or read somewhere that you should treat yourself not cheat yourself. Reward yourself with all the good you've done.
Try to not make them food oriented as much as possible, at least until you become better with moderation.
I found these delicious treats at my local Hy-vee.

These veggie French fries taste like actual french fries!! There's only 5 servings in a bag so make sure you put one single serving in bowl. Then close the bag & walk away. WALK AWAY! You will eat the entire thing.
The ice cream is very creamy! Its better than 'real' ice cream. No soy, no dairy.

The sugar/carb count isn't bad on the veggie fries but I'll double check nutrional info and get back to you.
Remember why you are eating this way. Remember why you are striving for better health. For you. You are worth it. Not for a dress, not for a person.
Just you. You can do this, TREAT yourself with love and tell the negative committee in your head to sit down and shut up.
You only CHEAT yourself by undoing all of your hard work.
The better you treat you, the better you'll treat others.

Agreed. Food should never be a reward. That makes living healthy seem more temporary.
