Series Finale Countdown: Arya Stark Workout Routine

Only 4 days left until the Game of Thrones series is officially over. Whether you loved last weeks episode or hated it (which seems to be the biggest case) I think we should still celebrate coming together each work year after year and inviting these characters into our homes. I love our Sunday night rituals with our friends. Dessert, drinks, and really good t.v. Somehow we're able to balance it out with food prep, workouts, and getting up early to slug through another Monday. To celebrate another amazing character we're going to look at what Maisy Williams does to stay not only in shape as an actress but to be a ruthless killer on Game of Thrones.

Today's article is again from Superhero Jacked but will also include some impressive foot and sword work videos. Mike who is the owner and operator of Superhero Jacked, talks again about the importance of diet.
While Arya has a diet bent on vengeance, love, and bread.

While it seems the information on Arya's workouts' are a bit more vague, due to being one of the faceless men, it's easy to see that it involves a lot of sword work, as well as being able to get out of tight situations at a moments notice. For the bulk of your training, you're going to utilize full body workouts for basic maintenance, cardio for speed, and martial arts for agility and weapons.

Maisy Williams has a background in dance which goes a long way towards quick knife movements like the one above.

MK Ultra has an 11-minute video which goes over European sword fighting, parkour, bo staff and quarterstaff (which looks a lot like Morgan's stick fighting on Walking Dead)

With all of that said to train like Arya you'll need a minimum of 3 days a week according to Superhero Jacked, but to be more like the Faceless Man assassin you will need to be training 24/7 (realistically 5-7 days a week). Superhero Jacked offers two bodyweight variation days, fence strengthing workout, and to round out training, a day of mixed martial arts.

In order to take a long journey such as Arya, you need to train for it. Always remember the North and that it was Arya who came for house Frey.

Blessings,
A
