Previously on the Walking Dead:: Apocalypse Workouts

The Walking Dead Returns tonight on AMC, and I am geared up to go watch it with my friends and the man.

4 years ago I covered the Zombie Combat Manual Recommendations for Diet.

Tonight as I picked the Manual back up, I noticed the different workouts that Roger Ma recommends are great for any level of athlete. Start with 1 round of each exercise, unless you are more of an advanced athlete, you can complete several rounds of the exercises.

According to Ma "For active individuals who already have a moderate level of fitness, this may seem like a relatively easy circuit to complete.  This is also the are minimum recommended to for all civilians, regardless of age or weight."
This great news for having to defend yourselves against the undead!

However, Ma goes to say that there is a difference "between base and combat-ready fitness. Without a sufficient level of health and stamina, having to fend off multiple undead attacks during a full-blown outbreak can reduce an unprepared individual to a worn out shell of human being within hours."

His motivation advice "To become a truly effective warrior against the undead, you must maintain a consistent fitness routine...Every session you skip makes you that much ore vulnerable to being devoured alive.

Zombie Basic Fitness Circuit -
20 push-ups
10 pull-ups
20 burpees
10 box jumps (or 20 jumping jacks, should a be box be unavailable)
20 squats

Zombie Combat Fitness Circuit
25 blasters
25 kick outs (each leg)
25 wood choppers (two handed)
25 skull poppers (each leg) This is basically picking a spot on a tire (without it's rim) and stomp with all your might.

Alright friends, stay vigilant. Stay alert. Most importantly, don't get angry. Angry makes your stupid. Stupid gets you killed.

Blessings,
A
